The Bachchan clan is glad and overwhelmed by the spontaneous response to the 'new baby in AB episode'. The Bachchans had expressed their vote of thanks to all of their well wishers.
Abhishek and Aishwarya are finally going to be parents, after four years of marriage. Unable to contain his joy, the Big B had proudly announced the joyful tidings on his Twitter timeline.
Amitabh says, "Jaya and I are delighted at the news. We Wish to thank all out friends and well wishers for their affection and seek your blessings and love in the coming days..."
"Thank you all for your warm wishes. We are happy and would like to thank all our well wishers for their love, support and blessings," the couple said in a statement.
While speaking to a news daily, Abhishek admitted it’s been crazy. He added that it hasn't sunk in yet as they're still busy sharing the news. The realisation will come later. Right now he's kind of numb.
Aishwarya told the daily, "Now you know why I’ve been trying to stay out of the public eye lately. It’s still to sink in, really. Abhishek and I are super happy, but it is a matter of happiness for our entire family and that makes all the difference."
As usual, the most restrained and controlled member of the Bachchan household was Jaya. Rather than get into the bustle of celebrations, she has already started thinking of practical matters.
